Apple launched a new leasing program in the U.S. to make its premium devices more affordable. Partnering with Klarna, “Apple Upgrade” allows two-year leases for iPhones, Apple Watches, Macs, and iPads starting at $17.99 per month. This initiative aims to offset rising component costs and potential iPhone price hikes, potentially encouraging more frequent upgrades. The program replaces the prior iPhone Upgrade Program and offers a more cost-effective alternative for consumers.
