Tigo and BayWa r.e. to Showcase Solar Solutions at ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2025 in Thailand
CAMPBELL, Calif. — Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: TYGO), a prominent player in smart solar and energy software solutions, is set to co-exhibit with BayWa r.e. at the upcoming ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2025. The event will take place from July 2-4 at the QSNCC in Bangkok, Thailand. The spotlight will be on supporting Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar installers and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) specialists as new rapid shutdown regulations come into effect. The focus will also be on deploying high-wattage modules in regions with strong sunlight, and ensuring Total Quality Solar (TQS) through Tigo’s service offerings.
In Southeast Asia, which experiences high temperatures, humidity, and intense sunlight, the Tigo TS4-X family of MLPE (Module Level Power Electronics) devices takes center stage. These devices offer the latest optimization, monitoring, and safety features for solar installers using high-wattage modules. This includes supporting modern bifacial modules for increased backside gains. The TS4-X product line gives installers flexibility in module selection to optimize deployments and deliver higher efficiency, reduce labor costs with a no-bolt design. Ultimately lowering the Levelized Cost Of Energy (LCOE) is key to increasing solar adoption in the large-scale sector. Tigo MLPE devices seamlessly integrate with numerous third-party solar inverters, giving installers and EPCs greater freedom of design and installation.
“Thailand’s rooftop solar market is witnessing rapid growth, and with it, the demand for safer, smarter systems,” stated Junrhey Castro. “As a regional distributor, our focus is to support this expansion leveraging reliable solutions that secure the performance and investment of our customers. Incorporating Tigo into our portfolio highlights our dedication to quality and innovation for solar professionals throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia.”
In Thailand, Tigo will also invite installers to enroll directly in the Tigo Green Glove service program at the BayWa r.e. booth. The Green Glove service program is a premium support experience for C&I system installers, designed to improve the installer experience and foster quality within the solar value chain. This program includes a series of support engagements tailored for Tigo C&I installers, both pre- and post-installation.
“Collaboration between global companies like BayWa r.e. and Tigo is essential for creating a robust solar ecosystem that benefits installers and EPCs worldwide,” commented Jing Tian, Chief Growth and Revenue Officer at Tigo Energy. “We believe that products such as the TS4-X and initiatives like Green Glove can significantly drive down LCOE while elevating Total Quality Solar. In regions with high levels of sunlight, these factors provide multiple benefits throughout the industry, from manufacturers to installers, and ultimately to the operators and asset owners.”
Attendees of the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2025 are encouraged to visit BayWa r.e. and Tigo at booth F11 from July 2-4 at the QSNCC in Bangkok, Thailand. Interested parties can book an appointment with a Tigo specialist at the show by registering here.
