Homebuilder plans to build approximately 300 homes designed for Utah’s land, lifestyle, and local aesthetic with these new communities
WEST JORDAN, Utah–Tri Pointe Homes, Inc. (NYSE: TPH), a major player in the national homebuilding sector, is making a strategic move into Utah. The company announced today the grand opening of its inaugural community, Polaris at Terraine, located in West Jordan. This marks the start of a significant expansion, with plans for five communities spanning Salt Lake, Utah, and Wasatch counties.

The timing is key, as Tri Pointe enters a Utah market currently experiencing a surge in demand. The Beehive State has boasted the best economic outlook for the last 18 years, and was recently recognized as the best state overall in the nation.

- The Crossings at Lake Creek (Heber City): Planned for 139 single-family homes in elevated farmhouse and cottage styles, boasting up to eight bedrooms and 5,000 sq. ft. with finished basements. The location provides convenient access to employment hubs in Salt Lake City, Park City, and Provo, along with proximity to Deer Valley skiing. Community amenities are anticipated to include a clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts, and extensive open space. Sales are projected to begin in August 2025.
- Aspire at Holladay Hills (Holladay) and Pavilions at Holladay Hills (Holladay): These two communities are set in one of Utah’s most desirable and walkable neighborhoods. Aspire at Holladay Hills will offer 57 townhomes designed for refined urban living. Pavilions at Holladay Hills will feature six luxury estates. Notably, all model homes will be designed in collaboration with Emmy-winning design expert Bobby Berk, known for his work on Netflix’s “Queer Eye.” Sales are anticipated to launch in early 2026.
- Canyon Park (Orem): This community will feature 79 homes up to 4,100 sq. ft. Scheduled to open in early 2026, this redevelopment of the former WordPerfect campus emphasizes thoughtful planning and provides a unique opportunity to create a neighborhood from the ground up in Orem’s attractive East Bench, near the Sundance arts and recreation scene.
