Guardian Metal Resources PLC Announces Significant Drilling Results at Pilot Mountain

Guardian Metal Resources (LON:GMET)(OTCQX:GMTLF) announced positive assay results from its Pilot Mountain tungsten project in Nevada. Drilling in the Desert Scheelite zone confirmed high-grade tungsten mineralization with significant widths, supporting their “Mined in America” initiative. The company completed 82 drillholes, including 61 at Desert Scheelite. Key intersections include 21.6 m at 0.20% WO3 and individual assays reached 1.09% WO3, along with copper, silver, and zinc. Initial results from the Garnet Zone are expected soon.

Desert Scheelite Yields More High-Grade Tungsten, Copper, Silver & Zinc

LONDON, UK / ACCESS Newswire / August 6, 2025 / Nevada-focused strategic mineral exploration and development company, Guardian Metal Resources plc (LON:GMET)(OTCQX:GMTLF), is making headlines this morning after releasing final drillhole assay results from its wholly-owned Pilot Mountain tungsten Project in Nevada. The latest batch of data, covering drillholes PM25-41 to PM25-052 within the Desert Scheelite zone, confirms significant high-grade tungsten mineralization across substantial widths, adding fuel to the company’s ambitious “Mined in America” initiative.

The company has now completed a total of 82 drillholes, a significant milestone. This includes an impressive 61 drillholes at Desert Scheelite alone (49 resource, 7 geotechnical, and 5 metallurgical), alongside 20 resource drillholes at the Garnet Zone, and a single exploratory hole at Porphyry South.

Oliver Friesen, CEO of Guardian Metal, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are very pleased to now have all of the results in hand from the Desert Scheelite resource drilling, marking another important step toward our goal of delivering Mined in America tungsten to the United States market. Once again, this latest batch of assays has confirmed zones of high-grade tungsten, copper, silver and zinc, with numerous holes returning significant widths of tungsten mineralisation.”

But that’s not all. Friesen added, “We now eagerly await initial results from our inaugural Garnet Zone drilling and look forward to commencing drilling at Tempiute in the coming weeks. With multiple rigs soon to be mobilized across our Nevada based co-flagship tungsten projects, Guardian Metal is entering one of its most active and potentially value-accretive periods in the Company’s history, with significant news flow expected over the coming months.” All indicators pointing to a hot H2 for GMET investors.

Key highlights from this latest assay release include:

  • Significant mineralized widths (greater than 0.10% WO3) were encountered throughout several holes, boasting multiple broad mineralized intervals.
  • Some notable intersections include a 21.6 m interval in PM25-043, a 33.9 m interval in PM25-045, a 45.7 m interval in PM25-047, and a 24.4 m interval in PM25-051. The devil is in the details as investors should consider how core recovery gaps could expand width profiles around holes PM25-042, PM25-043 and PM25-045.
  • Individual assay results are eye popping. High-grade results up to 1.09% W03, 9.98% zinc (Zn), 337ppm silver (Ag), and 1.3% copper (Cu) were reported. An interval highlight of 8.23m of 1.23 % WO3Eq or 4.26 % CuEq from PM25-045 was nested in a broader 33.9m continuously mineralised interval from that drillhole.
  • Initial analytical results from Garnet Zone drilling are expected imminently (stay tuned), with inaugural results to the market in the coming weeks.
  • Samples from the Company’s newly staked ‘Pilot North Project’ are now in the laboratory with results expected in the coming weeks.
