Barton Gold Holdings (OTCQB:BGDFF) is ramping up activity at its South Australian Tarcoola Gold Project, initiating diamond drilling at the Tolmer prospect. The initial program will see 3 holes drilled, totaling approximately 550 meters, within the ‘eastern gold zone’. The focus is to analyze structural controls, informing future exploration targeting.
The Tolmer discovery is already demonstrating considerable promise, boasting grades reaching up to 83.6g/t Au and a staggering 17,600g/t Ag. A March 2025 discovery hole snagged the 5th highest-grade silver intersection globally in the first half of 2025, clocking in at 6 meters @ 4,747 g/t Ag from a depth of 46 meters. Recent assay results have not only extended the high-grade silver horizons but have also revealed concurrent high-grade gold, peaking around ~13g/t Au, all within a mineralized zone stretching roughly 1.5 kilometers wide.
