Larsen to its Board of Directors and that of subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Company, following shareholder approval at the companies’ Annual Meetings on May 22. Larsen joins PG&E after a 36-year tenure at Wisconsin-based Alliant Energy, where he rose from electrical engineer to CEO, overseeing critical initiatives like the Clean Energy Blueprint—a strategic roadmap for renewable energy expansion and grid modernization. His appointment underscores PG&E’s emphasis on safety, infrastructure resilience, and customer-centric innovation as California accelerates its decarbonization goals.
