LG OLED TV’s Perfect Blacks & Perfect Colors Capture the Master’s Vibrant Palette

LG Brings the Frieze Art-viewing Experience to the Home with LG Gallery+

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — LG Electronics (LG) is betting big on bridging the gap between art and technology at Frieze Seoul 2025, marking its fourth year as Headline Partner with “Park Seo‑Bo x LG OLED TV: Colors Drawn from Nature” (September 3–6). The collaboration with the PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION showcases the remarkable color philosophy of one of Korea’s most celebrated contemporary artists, faithfully rendered through the unparalleled precision of LG’s self-lit OLED technology. But LG isn’t just for the art fair elite; this year, they’re democratizing the experience via LG Gallery+, a personal curation service that transforms LG TVs into at-home art galleries.

A Master of Nature’s Colors Reimagined by LG OLED TV

The “Park Seo‑Bo X LG OLED TV: Colors Drawn from Nature” exhibition isn’t just an art display; it’s a technical showcase. LG OLED TVs are effectively digital canvases, breathing new life into Park Seo-Bo’s nature-inspired palette. From the meditative black and white hues, derived from the soot of a traditional Korean kitchen hearth and the serenity of Korean hanji paper, to the vibrant yellows of Jeju canola fields, the delicate pinks of azaleas, the fresh greens of spring leaves, and the warm oranges of ripe persimmons, the TV’s self-lit pixels and perfect blacks are designed to capture the subtle depth and nuances of Park’s work, delivering the artist’s vision with remarkable fidelity.

“Park Seo-Bo believed that nature speaks in colors beyond words,” explains Park Seung-ho, chairperson of the PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION and the artist’s son. “This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on his works, inviting viewers not just to observe, but to participate more fully in the artistic experience.”

The exhibition centerpiece is a T-shaped installation featuring LG’s latest OLED evo G5 and M5 TVs, which present a digitally reimagined artwork by Je Baak, art professor at Seoul National University. This piece celebrates a transformative moment for Park Seo-Bo: being struck by the awe-inspiring and therapeutic beauty of overwhelmingly red autumn leaves. To share this moment of enlightenment, Baak collaborated with AI to collect and synthesize the diverse shades of autumn-leaf red captured by individuals worldwide. The result? A collective visual monument that allows all to see autumn leaves through the eyes of the artist.
