Alkane Resources has announced high-grade gold and antimony intercepts at its Kendal deposit, near the Costerfield operation in Victoria. Recent drilling revealed significant vein systems, including previously undiscovered zones, with standout results like 2.3m at 267.5 g/t gold and 5.6% antimony. Development is underway to access this new mineralization, which is expected to enhance Costerfield’s ore production with its high antimony content, exceeding that of current ore sources. Further drilling is planned to fully define the deposit.

United States Antimony Corporation (USAC) proposed acquiring Larvotto Resources via a scheme of arrangement, offering 6 USAC shares per 100 Larvotto shares. USAC also disclosed a ~10% ownership stake in Larvotto. The non-binding proposal is subject to Larvotto shareholder and regulatory approvals. The combination aims to scale antimony and critical minerals production outside China. While the proposal is an actionable takeover attempt, completion is conditional on a binding agreement, approvals, and successful integration.
