Gatik, an autonomous trucking company, has secured $200 million in Series D funding to expand its driverless freight operations. The company boasts a significant backlog of contracted revenue and a high on-time delivery rate, operating regional freight routes and connecting distribution centers to retail outlets. Gatik’s technology, including its proprietary AI system Gatik Driver, enables fully driverless trucks. They are scaling production and investing in advanced simulation and onboard AI processing, with strategic partnerships for Level 4 autonomous vehicle development and mass production.

Einride is deploying 75 electric trucks into Amazon’s Relay network, a significant expansion of its U.S. operations. This partnership will electrify Amazon’s middle-mile logistics, contributing millions of emission-free miles annually. Einride will also manage charging infrastructure using its AI software. This collaboration validates Einride’s technology and accelerates Amazon’s decarbonization strategy for its extensive logistics fleet, ahead of Einride’s planned public offering.

Einride, a Swedish autonomous electric freight technology company, plans to go public via a SPAC merger with Legato Merger Corp. III, valuing the company at $1.8 billion. Expected to trade on the NYSE in early 2026, the deal aims to generate $219M. Einride boasts a contracted ARR of $65M and a pipeline exceeding $800M, serving over 25 customers in seven countries, including PepsiCo and Heineken. The company offers both driver-operated and autonomous EV freight services, licensing its technology and aiming to reduce emissions in the $4.6 trillion global freight market.
