On September 12, 2025, Cameco announced a long-term agreement to supply Slovenské elektrárne (SE) of Slovakia with natural uranium hexafluoride (UF₆) from 2028 through 2036. Cameco will provide both uranium ore and conversion services for SE’s Bohunice and Mochovce nuclear facilities. The agreement secures a diversified and reliable fuel source for Slovakia, enhancing its energy security.
