Duke Energy Foundation Grants $100,000 to Red Cross in Preparation for Winter Storm Fern
The Duke Energy Foundation has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross in anticipation of Winter Storm Fern hitting the Carolinas. This funding will support warming shelters, emergency supplies, and other vital resources to help communities stay safe and warm during the severe weather. Duke Energy’s operational crews are also prepared for power restoration efforts.
