Globalstar has commercially launched its RM200M two-way satellite IoT module, a globally certified solution for affordable and resilient connectivity of critical assets. Utilizing Globalstar’s L and S-band spectrum, the module offers reliable, two-way communication and also supports cellular connectivity for versatile IoT applications. The module is being deployed globally in diverse industries including logistics, energy, and agriculture. Its flexibility, multi-mode capability and ease of integration are key adoption factors.

Globalstar (GSAT) has entered a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army to test its satellite data solutions for defense applications. The focus will be on developing LPI/LPD communications and enhancing covert sensing, unmanned systems, logistics tracking, and TTL functionalities. The Army will evaluate Globalstar’s compact, lightweight devices for long-term deployments in remote environments, leveraging the company’s satellite connectivity for real-time alerts and onboard data processing. This collaboration aims to provide secure and autonomous communication capabilities in contested environments.
