Taranis Resources has discovered significant lamprophyre intrusions and alteration zones at its Thor Property, suggesting deeper mineralization potential. These intrusions appear to have bisected the known epithermal deposit, with the newly identified Borr Zone representing a potentially larger, deeper section. Geophysical surveys have mapped alteration halos and conductivity features associated with the lamprophyres, which are often linked to large mineral deposits. This discovery reframes the district’s potential, indicating a deep mantle-tapping system and providing Taranis with clear targets for expanding the Thor deposit downwards.
