API Adoption”.Ericsson Partners with LotusFlare to Speed Up Network API Adoption
Ericsson has formed a strategic partnership with LotusFlare, acquiring a minority stake, to integrate LotusFlare’s DNO Cloud platform with Ericsson’s programmable network. The collaboration creates a Network API Exposure Layer that provides consent‑management and digital‑commerce tools, enabling CSPs to expose, control and monetize advanced 5G functions—such as edge compute, network slicing and AI‑driven QoE—via standardized APIs. Joint solution blueprints will streamline integration, compliance and billing, helping operators shift toward API‑driven revenue streams and positioning both firms as early leaders in the emerging Network‑as‑a‑Service market.
