America’s ATOM Initiative Aims to Challenge China’s ‘Qianwen’ Open-Source AI Dominance
The U.S. is launching “Project ATOM,” a strategic initiative to regain leadership in open-source AI amid growing competition from China, particularly Alibaba’s Qwen models.
