Princess Cruises celebrated the 137th Rose Parade with a stunning “Together in the Magic of Alaska” float, showcasing the new *Star Princess*. The elaborate floral display featured Alaskan wildlife and landscapes, with over 300,000 flowers. It highlighted the cruise line’s commitment to teamwork and its extensive 2026 Alaska season, emphasizing the beauty of the region and the debut of their latest ship.

Princess Cruises’ Star Princess, the second Sphere-Class ship, has embarked on its inaugural 11-day Western Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona. The 177,800-ton ship accommodates 4,300 guests and features 30 dining and bar venues, enhanced entertainment including original shows and immersive illusions in Spellbound by Magic Castle, luxurious accommodations, and a premium liquor collection. Following the Mediterranean voyages, the Star Princess will sail to Fort Lauderdale for its Caribbean season and official naming ceremony in November 2025 before a summer season in Alaska.

Princess Cruises’ “Spellbound by Magic Castle,” an immersive speakeasy experience inspired by Hollywood’s Magic Castle, will debut on the new *Star Princess* in Fall 2025. Following its success on *Sun Princess*, this edition pays tribute to Cardini with themed spaces like the Cardini Bar offering innovative cocktails. Open to all guests for $45 (includes two cocktails and the show), Spellbound replaces dinner service with multiple nightly showtimes. The 4,300-guest *Star Princess* features diverse dining, entertainment, and itineraries including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Alaska.
