Elon Musk is planning a massive chip manufacturing facility in East Texas, codenamed “Terafab,” with initial investments potentially reaching $55 billion and a full-scale development costing $119 billion. SpaceX is seeking tax abatements for the project, which aims to produce chips for SpaceX, xAI, and Tesla.
