XIJ printing

Matthews International unveils its Axian Inkjet (XIJ) printing technology, merging CIJ and TIJ benefits through MEMS. The XIJ offers 100 DPI resolution, prints 2D codes without speed reduction, and eliminates make-up fluids, reducing operational costs and environmental impact. Key benefits include higher resolution, faster speeds (up to 200 ft/min) and eco-friendly operation. Print height is limited to 0.5 inches, and optimal throw distance is 8mm. This innovation is expected to strengthen Matthews’ market position, especially in CPG and FMCG sectors.
