OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT Atlas on Tuesday, signaling a bold move into the increasingly competitive web browser market. This new offering leverages the power of OpenAI’s generative AI to reimagine the browsing experience.

Atlas is designed with a familiar interface, but its core difference lies in the deep integration of ChatGPT. Users can seamlessly access ChatGPT functionalities while navigating any webpage, enabling AI-powered summaries, question answering, and task completion.

“We believe that AI provides a unique opportunity to redefine the browser,” stated OpenAI CEO Sam Altman during a live presentation.
