At the heart of the SureColor S8170 lies its advanced printhead technology and a 6-color UltraChrome GS3 ink set. This combination allows for minimized banding even at the highest speeds, a common challenge in high-volume printing. The fast-drying ink also enables same-day lamination, a feature that can significantly reduce turnaround times and improve operational efficiency for print shops. The S8170 also offers flexible ink pack options (800mL or 1,500mL) with hot swap technology, virtually eliminating downtime by switching to a new ink pack mid-print.
