LAS VEGAS – Caesars Entertainment and Monmouth Park today celebrated the grand opening of a state-of-the-art trackside Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey. Caesars Entertainment and Monmouth Park leadership marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting event at the new sportsbook, bar, and restaurant.

The new venue, adjacent to the Monmouth Park clubhouse, offers 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor sports viewing space with views of the racetrack. Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park features wall-to-wall video displays, over 25 self-service betting kiosks, a center bar, and a VIP section. A Shake Shack is also located within the sportsbook, offering its full menu. Pari-mutuel race wagering is available as well.

“Opening this venue at Monmouth Park, where legal sports betting in New Jersey first launched, builds on its history,” said Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital. “This investment supports horse racing in the Garden State, and the integrated sports wagering experience should attract new fans.”

“We are excited to work with Caesars to offer this new sportsbook,” said Dennis Drazin, Chairman and CEO of Darby Development LLC, operators of Monmouth Park Racetrack. “This has been a long time coming, and we are excited to see it come to fruition as we continue the expansion of Monmouth Park as a top entertainment and gaming destination in the State.”

This opening represents another step forward for Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park. In 2018, Monmouth Park accepted the state’s first legal in-person sports wager following the overturning of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), paving the way for a burgeoning sports betting market.

New Jersey sports fans can access the Caesars Sportsbook & Casino app on desktop or mobile. The app offers features such as same-game parlays, player props, futures, and live in-play betting. The app also includes resources for responsible play, including deposit limits, spending limits, and time limits. Users can also livestream events, including NFL games. The app contains casino games and Caesars-branded games.
