Caesars Entertainment and Monmouth Park celebrated the grand opening of a new Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park in New Jersey on November 20, 2025. The 16,000-square-foot venue features indoor and outdoor sports viewing, self-service betting kiosks, a bar, a VIP section, and a Shake Shack. This builds on Monmouth Park’s history, as it was the first location in New Jersey to accept legal in-person sports wagers. The Caesars Sportsbook app is also available for online betting. Caesars emphasizes responsible gaming, offering various resources and enforcing a 21+ gaming policy.

Allegiant Air announced on August 13, 2025, it’s expanding its network to Atlantic City, New Jersey, adding four new routes to Florida destinations: Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Sanford and Punta Gorda. Flights begin in December 2025 and February 2026, with introductory one-way fares starting at $39. The expansion strengthens Allegiant’s leisure travel emphasis, providing affordable options for travelers. Allegiant has also extended its flight schedule through May 2026.

PSE&G is taking measures to alleviate rising summer energy costs for New Jersey residents. From July to August 2025, residential customers will receive a $30 monthly credit. Additionally, reconnection fees will be waived, and a Summer Moratorium will protect income-eligible individuals from shut-offs. PSE&G is also advocating for long-term solutions to address supply-demand imbalances and promote sustainable power generation in the state.
