In a move designed to accelerate both OEM partnerships and consumer adoption, the company today announced an extended agreement with Octillion Power Systems, a prominent U.S. lithium-ion battery manufacturer, to produce Vision Marine-branded high-voltage battery packs exclusively for the American market.

Under the terms of the deal, Octillion will manufacture Vision Marine’s new 45.36 kWh battery packs at its Nevada facility. This strategic move promises faster and more cost-effective distribution across North America. These batteries are engineered to power Vision Marine’s OEM collaborations and its own line of electric boats, promising increased performance, expanded range, and enhanced efficiency, all while reducing overall system costs and simplifying logistics.

This enhanced partnership effectively establishes a U.S.-based supply chain for Vision Marine’s proprietary E-Motion™ 180E electric outboard system, creating significant operational efficiencies. Beyond supporting integration with third-party manufacturers, this collaboration assures a reliable battery supply for Vision Marine’s direct-to-consumer electric boat sales. This includes vessels produced under formal agreements with multiple established boat manufacturers, which are sold through Vision Marine’s distribution channels without altering the original brands’ identities, expanding market reach.
