Pinwheel first announced its collaboration with Jack Henry in January 2024, making its direct deposit switch solution available to platform customers. By leveraging the Banno Digital Toolkit™, the same set of APIs that powers the Banno Digital Platform™, Pinwheel can embed its technology seamlessly into the digital experiences consumers now expect. This integration provides a slick interface directly into the digital banking platform, thereby adding to Jack Henry’s already extensive ecosystem of fintech partners – currently encompassing over 950 firms and servicing around 7,500 financial institutions.
With the expansion of its product suite, financial institutions using the Jack Henry platform can now easily add bill switching into their customer onboarding process. Pinwheel’s Switch Kit combines a top-performing Direct Deposit Switch solution with its Bill Switch feature, launched earlier this year. The Switch Kit is the first to comprehensively tackle the pain points that consumers face when activating a new bank account. Addressing those core concerns – like switching direct deposits and avoiding missed payments – that often deter individuals from switching to a better banking option is the goal. By combining direct deposit and bill switching at account opening, Pinwheel’s Switch Kit empowers financial institutions to become their customer’s main bank on day one.
