SYDNEY – In a strategic move to bolster its economic advisory capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region, FTI Consulting (NYSE: FCN) has tapped Steven Casey as Senior Managing Director within its Economic Consulting segment in Australia. Based in Sydney, Casey brings a wealth of experience gleaned from nearly two decades advising federal and state governments, regulators, boards, and top-tier executives.
Casey’s expertise is a veritable Swiss Army knife of public sector consulting, encompassing core areas like public policy, economics, and regulatory reform. He also brings deep experience in public investment strategy, evaluation methodologies, advanced analytics, and leveraging the power of data & AI. His skills extend into technology, policy crafting, efficient service delivery, and managing large-scale transformations – all essential ingredients for navigating the complexities of the modern public sector.
According to FTI, Casey will be instrumental in supporting clients facing intricate fiscal challenges related to infrastructure projects and overall policy execution. More than just a consultant, he’ll be tasked with accelerating the growth of FTI Consulting’s economics platform across Australia, developing integrated, multidisciplinary solutions tailor-made for clients operating at the nexus of government, public policy, and the private sector.
