Fundraising efforts saw nearly 1,000 participants contributing to the creation and support of programs for fire service survivors nationwide.
CINCINNATI – Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) recently hosted the Cincinnati 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the Cintas Center at Xavier University. The Cincinnati event, drawing nearly 1,000 participants, contributed to a nationwide effort across multiple Cintas stair climbs, raising over $100,000 for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF).

Local firefighters join the climb to help honor those who lost their lives on 9/11.
The funds raised from the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb are crucial for the NFFF’s ongoing initiatives, which provide direct support and resources to the families and colleagues of fallen firefighters.
The annual Stair Climb event serves as a poignant tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Participants climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center in remembrance of their heroism and selflessness.
“Participating in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is more than just physical exertion; it’s a powerful symbol of the resilience, unity, and unwavering commitment to service that defined that day,” said Nick Pickens, President and COO of Fire Protection at Cintas. “Cintas is deeply committed to supporting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and its vital mission of caring for the fire service community.”
This partnership between Cintas and the NFFF underscores a shared dedication to fire prevention, safety, and providing essential resources to those affected by fire-related tragedies. The collaboration strategically aligns Cintas’ expertise in safety solutions with the NFFF’s critical support network for firefighters and their families.
