Trevi Therapeutics will release topline results from its Phase 2b CORAL trial of Haduvio, an investigational therapy for chronic cough in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Bicara Therapeutics presented positive Phase 1/1b trial data for ficerafusp alfa, a bifunctional antibody, combined with pembrolizumab in first-line recurrent/metastatic head and neck cancer. Arcus Biosciences’ shares surged after promising Phase 1/1b data for its casdatifan-cabozantinib combo in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC. The ARC-20 study showed a 46% confirmed overall response rate, exceeding historic benchmarks. Arcus plans Phase 3 trials (PEAK-1) and others evaluating the combination in various ccRCC treatment settings. The positive results highlight the potential to change standards of care for patients whose ccRCC has advanced despite prior immunotherapy treatment.

The TROPION-Lung02 and TROPION-Lung04 trials support DATROWAY (datopotamab deruxtecan) combined with immunotherapy as a first-line treatment for advanced NSCLC. TROPION-Lung02 showed a 54.8% objective response rate with DATROWAY and pembrolizumab. Exploratory analyses show promising biomarker associations and the TROPION-Lung04 study found a 57.5% objective response rate when using DATROWAY with rilvegostomig.
