Century Communities expands its Century Complete brand to Jacksonville’s Westside with Kings Landing, offering affordable single-family homes starting in the upper $200,000s. The community features modern, open-concept floor plans with up to four bedrooms, modern finishes, and included features. Located near downtown Jacksonville, Kings Landing provides convenient access to amenities and major transportation corridors. Century Complete emphasizes online homebuying with local support, streamlining the process for first-time homebuyers.

Western Alliance Bank is financing the Senator Joseph M. Neal Jr. Apartments, a 192-unit affordable housing project in North Las Vegas, scheduled to open in Fall 2027. The bank’s investment includes the purchase of tax-exempt bonds and tax credit equity. The community, named after Nevada’s first Black state senator, will feature one- and two-bedroom units with amenities and prioritize senior residents. The project addresses Las Vegas’s affordable housing shortage via a partnership between public and private sectors, offering units for residents earning below the area median income, with many benefiting from HUD Section 8 assistance.

The 9th annual Nevada Youth Homelessness Summit, hosted by NPHY and Las Vegas Sands, will be held on November 14th in Las Vegas. Registration opens August 11th. The summit aims to create Nevada’s first standalone plan to end youth homelessness, building upon the 2018 Southern Nevada plan. With Clark County experiencing a 34% youth homelessness increase, the summit will launch the statewide Youth Experiencing Homelessness Study and gather stakeholders to develop sustainable strategies, amplifying youth voices.
