Cognizant’s Synapse skilling program, launched in 2023, has already exceeded its 2026 goal of training one million people and has set a new target to upskill two million individuals by 2030. The initiative, driven by a Cognizant‑Oxford Economics study predicting AI disruption to affect 90 % of jobs, offers job‑seeker pathways, employee STEM education, and partnerships with governments, universities and NGOs. Expanded efforts include a broader curriculum, branded learning events, and increased social‑impact funding. Synapse aims to secure talent pipelines, differentiate Cognizant’s brand and grow its AI, cloud and data‑analytics ecosystem.
