Yonghui Files Trademarks for “Fat Little Hui,” Expects Over 200 Fat-Modified Stores by Late September
Yonghui Superstores is increasingly emulating Pang Dong Lai, a popular Chinese supermarket chain. Yonghui has applied for “Pang Xiao Hui” trademarks across multiple categories, following prior registration of “Pang Yonghui” trademarks. They have renovated 128 stores with Pang Dong Lai-inspired layouts and service, aiming for 200 stores by September 30th with 80% product alignment. Yonghui also declared a zero-tolerance policy on internal corruption, requiring suppliers to apply through official channels, ensuring fairness and transparency.

JD.com Releases Integrity Guidelines: Bans Employee Kickbacks, Prohibits Supplier Collaboration with Terminated Employees
JD.com has launched “Integrity Cooperation Guidelines” to combat corruption. The e-commerce giant prohibits commercial bribery and outlines strict ethical principles for its partners. The guidelines ban business with dismissed employees and restrict former employees’ interactions for a year. To further promote transparency, JD.com has established a $1.4 million reward fund for whistleblowers reporting corrupt activities.
