Xiaomi Launches Charity Drive: 100,000 Free Tea Sets at Mi Homes
Xiaomi is giving away 100,000 free tea offerings at its Xiaomi Home stores in China starting August 16th. The “Happiness Tea Gift” supports poverty alleviation in Guizhou’s Mazhai Village, sourcing tea from local gardens. Xiaomi has also aided the village with appliances, installation services, and mobile phone support. The company supports 24.7 acres of tea gardens, with the harvest comprising the tea gifts distributed nationwide to over 2,000 stores, available while supplies last.
