Sora Dominates App Store Despite Invite-Only Access

OpenAI is dominating Apple’s App Store, boasting two of the top three free apps. The company’s latest offering, the AI video generation app Sora, has swiftly ascended to the coveted No. 1 position, signaling a significant shift in the landscape of mobile entertainment and content creation.

The artificial intelligence startup officially launched Sora this week, providing users with the ability to generate short-form AI videos, remix existing content from other users, and share their creations within a communal feed.
