June 30th, 2025 – Taiwan, actor Lung Fei, best known for his portrayal of the iconic Wei Xiaobao in the 1984 television adaptation of “The Deer and the Cauldron,” passed away on June 24th at the age of 76.
Lung Fei was hospitalized in February after falling into a coma, where he was diagnosed with stage three liver cancer, a condition deemed inoperable. His family has organized a memorial service scheduled for July 8th.
Born in 1954, Lung Fei left an indelible mark on television screens across Asia with his charismatic performances.
