Minisforum Unveils 795S7 SE Desktop PC: 7L, Ryzen 9 7945HX, Half-Height dGPU Support

MINISFORUM, the renowned mini-PC manufacturer, has announced the launch of its latest offering, the 795S7 SE, a competitively priced mini-desktop PC hitting the market today, July 12th.

The 795S7 SE desktop leverages MINISFORUM’s own BD795i SE motherboard, powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor. This CPU boasts 16 cores and 32 threads, reaching a maximum boost clock speed of up to 5.4GHz, and integrates an AMD Radeon™ 610M GPU. Notably, the chassis is designed to accommodate a 5060 half-height discrete graphics card, providing users with the option to significantly enhance graphical performance.

According to MINISFORUM, the 795S7 SE boasts a compact form factor measuring 298x95x225mm, translating to a 7L chassis volume. It is equipped with a 400W power supply.

The ITX form factor motherboard supports dual-channel SODIMM DDR5 memory, offering configurable options up to 5200MHz and 96GB of capacity. The mini-PC incorporates dual M.2 slots, facilitating up to 4+4TB of high-speed storage expansion with data transfer rates reaching 7000MB/s. This ensures a responsive and efficient data handling experience for users.

The front panel features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, and power and reset buttons for user convenience.

The rear I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a Type-C port, providing ample connectivity for peripherals and accessories.

Standard connectivity options such as HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, and audio jacks are also present. Furthermore, MINISFORUM has included a C_mos button for easy BIOS reset, catering to users who may need to revert to default settings.

In terms of expansion capabilities, the motherboard features a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, allowing users to install a half-height discrete graphics card within the confines of the compact chassis. The 5060 graphics card is supported for lossless output.
