Xiaomi has launched its Xiaomi 15T series globally, challenging Samsung in the smartphone market. The 15T and 15T Pro offer high-end specs at competitive prices (649 and 799 euros respectively), targeting consumers seeking premium features without the premium price. With improved camera capabilities, a large display, and substantial battery, the series aims to compete with Samsung’s A and S series. Xiaomi is expanding its product ecosystem beyond smartphones into home appliances, mirroring Samsung’s strategy and intensifying competition across various sectors.

Shenyang has reinstated consumer electronics subsidies to boost local spending, running from August 22nd to October 8th. The program targets new smartphone, tablet, and smartwatch/band purchases via platforms like UnionPay and JD.com. Subsidies offer a 15% discount, capped at 500 yuan, on eligible products priced under 6,000 yuan. Consumers can claim subsidies daily on a first-come, first-served basis between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with qualifications expiring at midnight.

Xiaomi achieved record-breaking success during the 618 shopping festival, with total payments exceeding 35.5 billion yuan across all channels. Several Xiaomi smartphones and smart home appliances secured top positions in their categories on JD.com and Tmall. The company is also preparing for an end-of-June product launch featuring the YU7, MIX Flip 2, and other new devices, signaling further growth.
