Yonghui has announced an ambitious plan to overhaul 200 stores across China by the end of September, with the goal of aligning 80% of their product offerings with Pang Donglai’s standards.

The initiative marks a significant expansion, with the 100th “Pang-Donglai-style” store opening in Nanjing earlier this month, a key milestone in this strategic shift.

The company now aims to efficiently complete the second phase of its transformation, focusing on the next 100 stores.

According to the latest projections, Yonghui plans to refresh and reopen approximately one store per day throughout the third quarter. This week alone, the number of remodeled stores across the country is expected to reach 126.

During the initial phase of the transformation, Yonghui has already succeeded in restructuring its product selection, with current store layouts now exceeding 80% alignment with Pang Donglai’s model.

Looking ahead, Yonghui intends to bolster its proprietary brands, aiming to introduce high-performing products targeting the 100 million yuan sales mark.

Adding further muscle to its transformation efforts, Yonghui is conducting a week-long training program for store managers in Zhengzhou, focusing on best practices to drive successful store-level implementation.
