This novel service leverages Didi’s existing private car fleet to facilitate the seamless transportation of luggage between locations, allowing users to travel unencumbered. The service is particularly appealing to families on vacation and business travelers.
According to Didi, the company has partnered with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). As a pilot program, luggage delivery will be available at over 300 Holiday Inn Express hotels in Shanghai, Beijing and other cities. Expansion to other IHG brands is planned.
Didi Express Delivery intends to further collaborate with other hotel brands and transportation hubs to continually enhance the express delivery experience for its users.
